RELOCATION OF THE LONDON DESIGN MUSEUM

The London Design Museum has moved from it's home on The River Thames to it's newly refurbished home in South Kensington. William Welch, CEO and Lead Product Designer of Studio William was invited to the grand opening on 24th Novemver 2016.

DESIGNER MAKER USER

In 2004, for William's Master's Degree he explored the idea of cutlery that people with physical challenges can use. William's Adaptive cutlery has been exhibited as part of the Designer Maker User Exhibition at the design Museum.

From Cutlery to Skyscraper.

As part of one of the opening exhibitions for the Design Museum, Studio William's Sensory Textured Spoons were included as contemporary cutlery design in Great Britain. The pieces are being kept as part of the permanent exhibition as a demonstration of creative thinking. The Textured Spoons are also available for purchase in the Design Museum store.
