Mahogany cutlery has been designed to highlight the functional area of a utilitarian object by making a feature of the manufacturing processes that go into creating cutlery.

The Story

The stand out “Witness” marks were inspiring my the wooden bowl in which a Gold and Silversmith’s hammer and shape their wares. The edges of the handles are finished with crafted radii to ensure a delicate ergonomic feeling to the hand, whilst the varying thickness gauges in the handles have been engineered for refined weight and balance.

We offer Mahogany in both Mirror and Mirror/Satin finshes

    Mark of a Maker
    An exaggerated lips sits just between the head and the handle. This detail was inspired by a silversmiths planishing technique.
    Cinched Waist
    From a proud base, to a delicate waste, a dramatic silhouette is revealed.
    Hidden Teeth
    The serrations are hidden on the underside of the blade, creating uninterrupted form.
