Okina
Okina is the physical embodiment of Yin & Yang, light and dark. Two contrasting knife designs, form part of one contrasting collaboration; the Orient inspired curvaceous knives and the European minimal straight knives.
The Story
'Okina' is a dwarf Japanese Maple with small serrated green foliage. It grows dense and upright, with tall thin stems and spreading habit, and the leaves turn to oranges to reds in the fall.

A curved blade and a straight blade. Okina allows restaurants to change the aesthetic of the table setting for lunch and dinner services, though the switching of knife designs, whilst using the same forks and spoons. Imagine dressing the table with different cutlery each meal, yet it being only one cutlery range. The playfulness and adaptability we love, as it complements the aspirations of both interior design and cultural cuisines.
Whether you choose the straight knife or the curved knife, Okina comes in a full place setting with forks and spoons that compliment either knife design.
Paired with Toona Chopsticks, the Okina range can fit a wide variety of different styles. The two different knife designs together with PVD options and multiple Toona chopstick colours makes for countless options.
