Kumquat

The Kumquat Tree
Native to Eastern Asia, the Kumquat tree typically reaches up to 3.6 metres tall. The Kumquat is often turned into marmalade or jelly, but is also popular for use in cocktails, much like Olives, while the branches are sometimes used as Christmas decorations

The Design Inspiration
Specifically designed to partner our Karri forks and spoons, the Kumquat range of knives offer an alternative to the Karri stand-up knife. William designed the Kumquat knives, after Karri was launched for use in the hospitality industry, however, it quickly became apparent that Kumquat was popular for domestic use too, and we started to market it separately as “Kumquat”. The handles have a timeless design with soft oval edges, made with a heavier gauge of stainless steel they feel well balanced and comfortable in the hand. The clean-lined aesthetics of this cutlery range makes it perfect for everyday use.
Our Kumquat cutlery sets, made using high quality 18/10 stainless steel, are available in a polished mirror finish only.
