Grove Serving Tongs
The Mangrove Tree
The Mangrove tree only grows at tropical and subtropical climates as they cannot withstand cold temperatures. Only reaching heights between 2 and 10 metres, they are known for their dense tangle of curved roots which make them appear as if on stilts above the water. They thrive in salty waters, often acting as shelter for tropical fish from predators. Mangrove forests also protect the shoreline from wind and flood damage and stabilize the coastline reducing erosion.

The Design Inspiration

Sculpted with careful consideration to ergonomics and function, Grove Serving Tongs have an architectural appearance, floating, with an arched look, off the table surface.
The tongs feature cut-outs within the form of the utensil heads. This cut-out allows for a gentle handling/gripping of foodstuff and many of the tong heads are deeper bowled heads to spoon/cup the foodstuff it is collecting. Each Grove Tong supports a specific food type, from noodles to salad, considering entrance/access into serving bowls, or collecting from flat serving platters. Made in high quality 18/10 stainless steel, Grove is only available in a polished mirror finish.
